Choose your bricks
$1 buys one individual brick. Start with one or choose up to 1,000 for a larger design. Each can have its own color.
A PUBLIC-POWERED INNOVATION COMPANY
Useful technology should make everyday life easier for everyone. Help us explore better ways to meet basic needs, show what they cost, and bring them within reach.
EXPLORE THE OPEN PLAN
Walk through the financial phases, explore proposed buildings, and open the plan down to the tools and supplies. Every small detail has a part to play.
THE IDEA
The wall is the first public artifact of the institute: an always-growing ledger of support. Each brick becomes a color, a coordinate, a timestamp, and a permanent part of the story.
From a one-dollar starting point to more affordable essentials. Everyone deserves a way in.
↗ 02Follow the costs, experiments, setbacks, and progress. See what your participation helps make possible.
↗ 03Better tools for real needs: clean clothes, clean water, shelter, and a life with fewer barriers.
↗TECHNOLOGY FOR EVERYDAY LIFE
Clean clothes. Clean water. A safe place to live. These are ordinary needs, yet access can still be difficult. We want to invent, improve, and simplify the technology behind them so that progress reaches everyday people. Our approach is progress over profit: build a sustainable company, make the work visible, and use honest cost information to challenge unnecessary expense. A lower price, an easier repair, or one less barrier can matter as much as a new invention.
What access means to us ↗THE PERMANENT WALL
YOUR PLACE IN THE STORY
Choose your bricks, paint them, and give them a place on the shared wall. Your colors and timestamps stay with the story as it grows.
Open the website through the Clear Brick launcher to explore the plan.
THE WALL / LIVE LEDGER
Paint a brick or a whole design. Build edge to edge on a wall that grows from left to right, always 100 bricks high. Every brick keeps its place and its timestamp. Purchase a brick to fund the work, or earn one through a verified public share.
FIND A RECORD
Search by serial number, name, or message. Select any brick to see its color, coordinate, builder, and timestamp. The timeline below the wall lets you revisit every placement.
BUILDING TOGETHER
Rankings count placed cells with optional location tags. Add yours when claiming a purchase.
ONE BRICK CAN SAY SOMETHING
Choose your bricks, make them your own, and place a permanent piece of the story. $1 per digital brick.
FREE WALL / A FRESH CANVAS EVERY MONTH
A shared canvas for everyone. Free bricks can be overwritten and the wall clears on the first of each month.
SUPPORT THE BUILD
A brick purchase is a direct, visible way to back the institute. One dollar buys one brick to color and place. Larger designs are welcome, with up to 1,000 bricks per collection. You can collect additional purchases over time, up to $1,000 per email/account each UTC calendar month, with no lifetime support cap. A $1,000 purchase is never expected: even one dollar makes a difference.

Zoom in and paint a pattern, picture, or message. Try Free Wall and save a design before purchasing.
Preview your art, drag it into place, then place the whole collection. Connect edge to edge with the wall or its bottom-left starting point. If a space is taken first, the group stays in your draft.
You are purchasing digital wall placement and the experience of placing it. This is a for-profit company. The purchase is not a charitable donation, is not tax deductible, does not buy a physical product, and does not grant equity or ownership.
See how the company reports progress ↗THE REASON WE EXIST
We are building a physical institute and operating company where useful ideas are explored, tested, refined, and pushed toward real-world use instead of staying trapped in conversation.
Explore the campus plan ↗THE CLEAR BRICK PROMISE
The institute is designed around a simple belief: Life is too beautiful to not be able to enjoy it. So we want to give time and quality of life back to each and every person by refining systems and tools to make life easier. And maybe even have some fun along the way!
The one-dollar starting point keeps the door open to everyone.
All incoming and outgoing funds will be publicly displayed, along with live video of our work, progress, and milestones.
The goal is not novelty for its own sake. It is better tools, clearer systems, and less friction in everyday life.
Supporters should be able to watch the story take shape and challenge the company to live up to it.

What access means to us ↗A FUTURE FACILITY
The long-term vision is a public funded and transparent business: part workshop, part lab, part experiment, all clearly visible to the people that make it happen! The digital brick wall is the first part in bringing this to life!

Being able to wash your clothes at home should not feel like a luxury. Neither should clean water or a safe place to live. The promise of technology matters most when people can actually use it. We want to understand the full cost of meeting a need: materials, manufacturing, installation, energy, maintenance, and repair. Then we can question complexity, improve designs, and explore ways to make useful solutions more affordable. Publishing the evidence gives people a clearer picture of what is possible and what still needs work. Access also means listening. A design that works in a lab may not fit a small home, a limited budget, a disability, or the resources available in a different community. Those experiences belong in the conversation from the beginning. You do not need a technical title or a large budget to have a useful idea. Read the work, try the free wall, share an everyday problem, or buy a permanent wall placement starting at one dollar. These are different ways to take part in the same goal: making life easier for more people.
Bring a question, share an idea, or add a permanent piece to the wall. Participation starts with curiosity.
Wall placements are purchases from a for-profit company. They do not provide ownership, a financial return, or a charitable tax deduction.
If people help build the company, they should be able to see how it is being built. Transparency makes participation meaningful: a public ledger, clear milestones, published reports, and a record of what changed. We want to show the experiments as well as the outcomes. What did we try? What did it cost? What failed? What will we change? A delay or a mistake is part of the story, and documenting it can help the next person build something better. The Transparency page brings that picture together. Watch a connected live feed, read the build log, explore published costs, and open the reports behind an update. When a feed or a measurement is not connected yet, it should say so. Visibility does not mean exposing private customer or banking details. Public records use reviewed information. The goal is to explain the work well enough that people can question it, learn from it, and decide whether it deserves their support.

A useful innovation does more than impress in a demonstration. It saves someone time, reduces a recurring cost, makes a task possible, or gives them more independence. That is the standard we want to build toward. The Clear Brick Institute will explore inventions and improvements to existing devices and systems. Sometimes the answer may be a new product. Sometimes it may be a simpler part, an easier repair, a better process, or clear instructions that help someone use what already exists. Clean clothes, clean water, and shelter are examples of the needs guiding this vision. They are areas to investigate, not claims that we already have finished products. We will publish the scope, costs, findings, and limits of each project as work takes shape. Progress over profit means treating wider benefit as a design requirement. The company still needs resources to operate and keep building. The aim is to make those resources produce practical value that reaches beyond the people who can afford the most expensive technology.
